After years of effort, the Charlotte chapter led the way to get Virginia Tech specialized plates approved by the NC DMV.  For more information and/or to apply for a plate, please click here (and click "specialized plates" in the menu on the left).

• Annual cost for a VT plate is $25 plus your county's regular license fees (typically $20)
• Annual cost for a specialized VT plate is $55 plus regular license fees
  • Maximum of 4 spaces for personalization (following the required V prefix > V _ _ _ _ )
